Award document grouping named to Karl STUMPF. He served in Inf. Rgt. 330 of the 183 Inf. Division and later 183. Volksgrenadier-Division. The division saw much action against the Americans in AACHEN in 1945. He was KIA on April 18, 1945 (!) in Fränkische Schweiz – a region of upper Bavaria.
