US WWII WAR CORRESPONDENT INSIGNIA GROUPING – MILES W. VAUGHN
Very nice grouping belonging to Miles W. Vaughn – VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL MANAGER FOR ASIA, UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATIONS OF AMERICA. Comes with letter sent to Admiral Halsey on his behalf by I.C. Johnson, director of Naval Procurement. Also comes with photos, and a nice selection of original War Correspondent insignia. He was dron in a hunting accident in Toyo Bay in 1949.
