Hans Philipp (March 17, 1917 – October 8, 1943) was a leading German fighter ace during the Second World War.
Background & Career:
- Joined the Luftwaffe in 1936 and became a fighter pilot after flight training.
- Served with units including Jagdgeschwader 54 and later commanded Jagdgeschwader 1.
- Took part in major campaigns: Poland, France, the Battle of Britain, Balkans, and the Eastern Front.

- Flew over 500 combat missions.
- Credited with 206 aerial victories:
- Majority on the Eastern Front
- 29 on the Western Front
- Among the earliest pilots to reach major milestones:
- 100 victories (1942)
