US WWII COAST GUARD WAR DOGS PHOTO, MANUAL AND DOCUMENT ARCHIVE – RARE!
Extremely rare grouping of WAR DOG material from a US COAST GUARD dog trainer/handler – William Louis Petagno. Comes with some original rare material including a War Dogs Tentative Handbook parts I and II from Match 1943, US Army War Dogs manual TM 10-396, a rare unpublished guide/handbook used for processing donated dogs for military servce at the DOG RECEPTION AND TRAINING CENTER FRONT ROYAL QUARTERMASTER DEFOT FRONI ROYAL, VIRGINIA(!), official documents and a binder full of excellent photos and negatives from his service. Great images of dog training, field full of kennels the dogs lived in, photos with handlers, on duty, unit vehicles, group photos, parades, etc. Really rare images.
