US WWII OFFICIALLY ENGRAVED AIR MEDAL
Officially wartime government engraved AIR MEDAL named to 1st Lt. Robert H. TALBOTT (later Lt. Col.). Research shows he was an early pilot, entering pilot training in the early 1930’s. I found a newspaper article from Indiana showing that he received the Air Medal. Have not been able to find his unit, however. He was a1930 graduate of Purdue University.
