Heer Wehrpass issued to Unteroffizier Josef MOSER. He served in Infanterie Regiment 134 of the elite 44. INFANTRY DIVISION “HOCH UND DEUTSCHMEISTER.” Later transferred to Inf. Rgt. 523 of the 297. Infantry Division that was destroyed at STALINGRAD. Awards entered include Sudetenland Campaign Medal, Austrian Anschluss Medal and Black Wound Badge. ID photos shows him in uniform, which is uncommon. Extensive Poland Campaign 1939 entries then France 1940 and finally Russia where he was KIA on August 20, 1941 at TSCHERKASSY.
