the Polish/Russian border preparing supply dump positions and the like for
Operation Barbarossa - the upcoming invasion of Russia. Has many inserted typed
pages details his service - reads like a diary! One entry talks about his new
quarter being "in the house of a Jew." Then photos of the Panzer units
forming up at the border for the invasion - one with the GEspenster Division
emblem. Then service in the field after the invasion - Russian tanks,
POWS, destruction, march on KIEV, etc. Interesting album detailing not often
seen photos.
