Document grouping named to Hauptmann Karl Kahnt who served with See-Fliegerhorst-Kommandantur (N.O.) Warnemünde and 10. (Nachtjagd)/Zerstörergeschwader 1. This was the unit of the famous night fighter ace Josef Kociok. Kahnt entered the Reichsmarine in 1922 and served on several warships. He transferred to the Luftwaffe
Kahnt died on 24.05.1943 in an airplane crash after a combat mission.
