130. WWII US Canal Zone + Australia Photo Album - 43rd Bomb Group "Ken's Men"- SILVER STAR WINNER - Nice Girl Photos
Very nice album of a soldier stationed in Panama and later Australia. He was a gunner on a B-17 "Panama Hattie" and, with the 43rd Bomb Group, 63rd Bomb Squadron, received the SILVER STAR (04/25/1943) and was credited with one kill (11/2/1942). Very well captioned. Based to Bill Elrod. Good photos of ships, submarine, Admiral BYRD & General Andrews meeting, great photos of "Blue Moon Queens" night club dancers hung around with, natives, flying over Sydney, medal ceremonies, A-2 jackets, and more.
