122. SOLDBUCH & AFRIKA POW Camp Art - 1./Nachrichten-Abt. “KRETA”
Heer Soldbuch for Obergefreiter Wolfgang Schneider who was born June 3, 1921 and served in 1./Nachrichten-Abt. “KRETA” on the Greek island of Crete. He was wounded by mine schrapnell and had a bruised pelvis in June of 1944. He was taken prisoner on May 8, 1945 and was sent to the El Daba POW Camp in Egypt. This lot includes a well filled out Soldbuch, along with his military drivers license. Also multiple POW papers and an ornate POW art box that includes his Wehrpass photo.
